HP VUE Features
This is a short list of HP VUE's general features:
- Windows and workspaces.
What your reading right now is printed in
a window. The HP VUE windows are similar to MS windows and are handled in a
similar manner. The main advantage of windows is that they allow you to run
several different programs or applications, as the computer literate call them,
at the same time. This multi-tasking capability is extended even farther by the
use of workspaces. Workspaces let your single display work as several displays.
Changing your workspace is done with the push of a "button".
- Icon-based file management.
Files and directories are represented by icons that can be selected and moved on
the display.
- Easy to use Text Editor.
- Easy customization. Colors, fonts, window behavior and other aspects
of the appearance and behavior of your workstation are easily changed and
modified.
- Front Panel and
toolboxes. The front panel allows easy access to most
applications by simply "clicking" on the icon representation.
