User Selection Panel (USP)

The User Selection Panel is formed by 4 members: 3 external members and 1 internal member, chosen on the basis of their internationally recognized experience and appointed by the LNF Director. The USP bases its selection on scientific merit and following the Article 16, Section 1, Chapter 4 of the Grant Agreement 824093 — STRONG-2020.

USP duties include, beyond the selection of submitted proposals, the monitoring of the progress of the approved projects. At the completion of each project, the USP examines the final reports, which, along with the published results, constitute the main deliverables.
