The outermost tracking device of FINUDA experiment employs 2424 drift tubes (straw tubes) made of 30 ?m thick aluminised mylar, 2500 cm long and 15 mm diameter.
The anode is a 30 ?m gold plated Tungsten wire.
Straw tubes array makes a cylindrical detector with inner radius of 1.1 m and an active surface area of 18 m2

- Two staggered layers with stereo angle of – 130
The Z coordinate is determinated by
crossing the stereo and axial layers.
