Neutron-rich Lambda
hypernuclei:
structure and production.
Abstract:
Properties of light
neutron-rich L hypernuclei (12LBe, 16LC) are calculated within the
Skyrme-Hartree-Fock approach.
Interplay between hypernuclear
interaction features and properties of these hypernuclei is
studied.
The production
of this hypernuclei by (K-,p+) and (p-,K+) reactions is considered.
Two different production
mechanisms should be treated: the two-step process with meson charge
exchange (e.g., p-p ® p0n, p0p ® K+L and p-p ® K0L, K0p
® K+n), and the one-step
production (p-p ® K+S-). In the last case, the reaction proceeds
via a small
S-component, arising in L hypernuclei due to LN-SN coupling, as a
doorway
state.
