Massive neutrino:
new effects in oscillations and new mechanism for electromagnetic radiation
in matter
Abstract
A review on electromagnetic properties of massive neutrino in
matter and electromagnetic fields is presented.
A new Lorentz-invariant approach to description of neutrino spin and flavour
oscillations in matter and electromagnetic fields is discussed.
Within this approach it becomes possible to study neutrino oscillations in
moving matter (including the case of matter moving with relativistic
speed) and arbitrary electromagnetic fields.
We show that the matter motion and polarization can drastically change the
neutrino oscillation pattern.
A new mechanism of electromagnetic radiation by massive neutrino ("spin light
of neutrino") propagating in the background matter and electromagnetic fields
is proposed.
