Recent Spin Results from PHENIX
(file.ppt - file.pdf)
Abstract
The Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven
National Laboratory produced the first high-energy
longitudinally polarized proton collisions in 2003. The
PHENIX experiment has performed an initial measurement of
the double longitudinal spin asymmetry ALL for
midrapidity neutral pion production, a quantity sensitive to
the gluon polarization Delta-g. Analysis details and results
will be discussed.
