SEMINAR   Thursday, August 5th - h. 14:30 Aula edif. 22 Fisica del Nucleo       Mario Bragadireanu IFIN-HH Bucharest     SIDDHARTA Slow Controls and Monitoring System     Abstract                 Several variables associated with the SIDDHARTA setup should be measured and controlled over time, cryogenic target temperature and pressure, silicon drift detectors temperature, isolation vacuum, calibration source position and so on. The stability of these variables is essential for the continuous operation and for the safety of the experiment.             A system based on National Instruments hardware and software, to be used on a “slow” basis, is presented and discussed.
