The gravitational wave detector NAUTILUS has completed one year of continuous data taking, operating at the thermodynamic temperature of 0.1 K. This is the first reported long term operation of such large massive body (2.5 tons) at ultralow temperatures. The detector sensitivity to gravitational wave sources and the description of the apparatus are reported in the preprint LNF 97/005P (to be published on Astrop. Phys.).
