FastBus controller serial reset

Using VT100/NCD LAT

local> connect LAT6P7
local> password: ******
hit return

give the following command

dont'press return!!!!!

press break on the keyboard to exit
 

Using LATSRV

connect to LATSRV as  shown

LATSRV> set host/lat LAT6P7
see the above steps....
press control-] and then control-C to exit
 

This will send an hardware reset to the PowerPC board in the crate.
Wait 30 seconds... then DAQ  people will be able to connect again to croc19
If this fails probably you will have to access the Hall to reset croc19 manually.
