The Frascati National Laboratories are located 30 Km Southeast of Rome, near the town of Frascati; they can be reached either from Rome by train or from Frascati by bus.
Frascati is a very attractive town and very close
to Rome. The town was built on the ruins of ancient roman villas, and because
of its mild clima and its closeness to Rome is visited from tourists coming
from all over the world. Situated on wide terraces, it forms a balcony
to the plain leading towards Rome, offering wide panoramic views. It is
known for the beauty of its ancient villas and the wine. The wine of Frascati
is particularly excellent thanks to the high quality of lands and climate.
Restaurants and foods in Frascati are the best expression of roman traditional
cooking.
