etc/ibmcxx.cfg - Default Configuration File

IBM C and C++ Compilers includes multiple versions of the default configuration file. When you install IBM C and C++ Compilers, only one of these configuration files is linked to /etc/ibmcxx.cfg according to the following criteria:

• If the level of your operating system is AIX 4.3, /etc/ibmcxx.cfg is linked to the ibmcxx.cfg.43 default configuration file
• If the level of your operating system is AIX 4.2, /etc/ibmcxx.cfg is linked to the ibmcxx.cfg.42 default configuration file
• If the level of your operating system is AIX 4.1, /etc/ibmcxx.cfg is linked to the ibmcxx.cfg.41 default configuration file.
