The LNF AFS cell is based on ten server running Scientific Linux 6.4.
AFS client machines managed by the Computing Service are:

• lxgw.lnf.infn.it (open via ssh to all users)
• lxplus.lnf.infn.it (open via ssh only from LNF lan)

The LNF AFS cell use Kerberos 5 to authenticate users since 29th August 2007. Starting on 25th July 2013 you need to configure the LNF.INFN.IT Kerberos 5 Realm to have AFS client work properly.

If you encounter any problem using afs open an "AFS Trouble Ticket" or, if you can't authenticate, send an email to: AFSUsers.Support@lnf.infn.it
