CRYOGENICS

The DAFNE cryogenic system has been completed and connected to the superconducting coil of the solenoid magnet of KLOE. By delivering helium at different temperatures (300, 70 and 5.2 K) this plant allows the operation of the two big solenoids of the KLOE and FINUDA detectors and of the four compensating solenoids in all their operation modes, namely cooling, full current running and heating to room temperature.

The cool-down the KLOE magnet in its assembly hall for the acceptance test and magnetic measurements has been successfully realized.
